Very nice, child-friendly restaurant. Regional and national dishes are served in a slightly traditional atmosphere. Points are deducted for the use of flavor enhancers in sauces ...
The food was delicious and the service very friendly. It's good when your own butcher is across the street.
The food was tasty and sufficient. There is still room for improvement when it comes to operation. The restaurant is also showing its age
We had meat platter & dumpling soup. The food was very good. Price, performance top. Service very friendly.
The venison goulash laughed at me on the menu. I asked if the deer was fresh or frozen. Since the latter was unfortunately mentioned, I took the burger. I thought there was little that could be done wrong ... thought wrong! The fries were limp and barely salted. The beef patty on request is also not fresh, but frozen. The waitress was honest and friendly. The drinks came very quickly.
Hunger. Cold. Dog. We would be warmly welcomed despite the big dog. Whether inside or outside, no problem and the animal got water too. We ate vegetarian & with meat, both very tasty and the portions were filling. Staff was incredibly nice and funny.
Mediocre schnitzel with ready-made sauce and mushrooms from the jar .. I honestly expected more .. Ambience on the upper floor not to be recommended .. Plates and cutlery are sometimes washed loudly next door ...
Very friendly service. We had venison goulash with spaetzle and a Vesper platter, both very tasty. Were there early, shortly before 6 p.m. there were no more tables, so it's best to reserve in advance.
Friendly staff, very good food, not expensive and hard workers.
The food was delicious, all of the dishes were delicious. The service very friendly and no handling. There were four of us and we all loved it. I can recommend it to others.
Very tasty food and the best Pomeranian wine we have ever had. The service staff was also very nice and even gave us tips on what to do in the area. The best thing to do is to make a reservation or to hope that a place will be free.
Great German food. Specially the blood sausage ( in the sausage platter) was outstanding. Generous portion. Nice courtyard. Mid range on price and not expensive. Would recommend if in Cochem. Staff was friendly and polite.
Tasty food. Nice staff. Good location. Extra star for not using plastic straw for the drink, instead a glass straw was used. What I liked the most here was how the staff made sure that the tables were cleaned before the next customer occupied it. In times of COVID, this is one of the most important things. The distance between tables were also good.
We have been there several times and have always felt very comfortable. The food is good and the waitresses are very nice. We'd love to come back. Thank you for several great days.
Food and drinks were served quickly and the food was very good. The place made a clean impression, the conditions were brisk and very friendly, although Sunday and around 2 p.m. it was very busy in Cochem. Gladly again at any time. ?
The wait staff is friendly and the service is fast. The food is decent, but not great. The sheep cheese salad was not recommended, the chicken burger and pork burger were also disappointing. The chicken burger was awkwardly built and was not that tasty. The potato omlet was tasty!
Good home cooking right on the Moselle promenade. However, mass instead of class seems to be the motto here. The quality of the food was good - but carelessly presented. The portion sizes shown on many photos have also decreased noticeably. Those who want to stop in close proximity to the Moselle are in good hands here, but have to put up with the fact that it is very touristy And you want to cater to as many guests as possible.
The food is delicious and very friendly staff. I am happy to recommend. The only downer: You can't reserve a seat, but that's understandable at these times.
Very delicious food right on the promenade, a bit upscale, price-performance ratio (quality) was justified. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed early this evening. The service was friendly to us, others to some extent harsh. The food was very tasty, sometimes the portions are quite small.
Great restaurant and great service from Frau Philipp!
Excelent attendance, delicious food
Good place with nice service from polite people, but really expensive.
Facing the cochem river, the place was nicely situated. Customer service was nice and cheerful. The menu was alright and I think most americans will like it here because of their burgers. The food was really good. It just get packed because of the location. Overall it was a good service and nicely ended our cochem tour.
Amazing views and food
Excellent stay
Super friendly staff and we all enjoyed the food. Service was fast and all waitresses were able to communicate with us in german, English and even Russian :) I can recommend that place to everyone!
Excellent food, we ordered off the special menu and were not disappointed!
Very good home cooking. ... service nice and friendly. ... value for money is fine. Portions, are neat and sufficient. .. Quality of the food was very good ... The restaurant is right on the promenade with ample parking and beautiful views of the Moselle. .. Opposite the pier for Moselrundfahrten .... in visit is highly recommended. ..
Amazing view and friendly staff
Interesting place to visit
Friendly staff and cosy place, the price is good but he food is mediocre.
Good sausage and potatoes.
Beautiful city and great sights to share. (The herring sandwich must be a local favorite).

Nice food and great wine in good location. The 2018 Riesling was to die for...
Busy terras in Cochem. Rather touristy. Like the whole city. But with the benefit of being from olden times a butchery. So on the card are actually rather good regional meat dishes
What is this? Came for a snack, this is what we got, a soaked sandwich with dry ham and pineapple. On the top some kind of sauce. Cold, raw cauliflower decorated this culinary master piece!
Loved this
Poor food and wine quality. Poor service.
It is perfect as a hotel found on a last minute day trip.
A bustling place that appears to be favoured by locals as well as tourists. Typical suppe, wurst und schnitzel fare but our meals there were tasty and well prepared and our host was cordial, which you don't always find in the area.
Amazing schnitzel!!! Good staff. Clean. Beautiful views!
Very friendly and fast in the service despite the fact that a group of 6 people arrived less than 1 hour from the closing of the restaurant. The river fish fillets I ate were very rich. The other dishes are also very good. Spacious tables and very nice decoration.
Very nice and child-friendly for our 2-year-old twins. Staff immediately brought out children's chairs, coloring pencils and paper, and moved the tablecloth + good and cheap kids menu (5-6€) + diaper change facilities. Food itself was also good and reasonably quick, we took some traditional pork-leg with sauerkraut and the portions were massive! The reibekuchen are delicious. Calm atmosphere, despite most tables being occupied.
Served very nice coffee. Beautiful scenery lovely river
Excelent
Nice atmosphere that fits in Cochem's vibe. Cakes are fresh and tastefull with a variety to choose from. The only drawback is the cost of coffee which was too much.

Good
they dont have proper espresso machine, waitresses are not friendly. It looks like they are tired of the tourists.
